One of the original Bear Trace Golf Courses--a Jack Nicklaus signature design course. This course had been closed for 8 years, and re-opened October 17, 2020. Since September 1, 2024 Ross Creek Landing Golf Course has been under the management of Chickasaw Golf Course, LLC. "The course, one of five built by the State of Tennessee and designed by Jack Nicklaus, opened in 2001 and closed in 2013. Before it closed, it was widely considered the best of the Bear Trace courses and earned numerous honors, including being named Tennessee’s No. 1 public course by Golfweek." --Alabama Golf News
