Softgolf (open April - October) is a full swing golf game utilizing the same fundelmental skills as conventional golf. It is played with a 4” diameter ball and 3 large faced clubs. The ball flies Up to 75 yards in the air. The shortest hole is 45 yards and the longest hole is 115 yards. The course is solar powered for night play. The 12” diameter holes, the flags, scorecard stands, tee boxes, clubs and balls illuminate while the grounds are safe but relatively dark. Curently the only Softgolf course is at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. and is open seasonally from April 1st to October 31st. Softgolf provides the ball and clubs for anyone over 3’ tall, ages 6 (suggested) to 106! The original Softgolf course opened in 1979 in Delran, NJ..
