Built in 1941, and renovated in 1999 under the supervision of renowned golf course architect John LaFoy, the GGC is not your everyday municipal golf course. With large, champion Bermuda Greens averaging over 6,000 sq.ft each, 419 Bermuda fairways, concrete cart paths, and the best practice facility in the area - there is much to see and experience at Goldsboro Golf Course. Golfers of all ages, levels, and abilities can enjoy this course, while still challenging their game and skills. In addition to Golf, the facility features an event center, clay tennis courts, and pickleball courts. It is owned and operated by the City of Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department.
