Designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1993, The Thoroughbred Golf Club at Double JJ Resort winds through Michigan’s scenic woods, wetlands, and lakes with 18 holes and four tee sets to challenge all skill levels—including a 147 slope from the tips. Highlights include the dramatic 425-yard par-four second hole, wrapping a cranberry bog and ranked among Michigan’s toughest. It’s also the only course where horseback riders have the right of way on cart paths. Beyond championship golf, the Double JJ Resort offers horseback riding, on-site dining, multiple lodging options, and both indoor and outdoor waterparks—making it a one-of-a-kind getaway for all ages.
