Lakeshore Golf Course is Taylorville's premier golf courses. Built adjacent to Lake Taylorville, Lakeshore offers golfers a unique course layout that can be both challenging and rewarding. Lakeshore forces more experienced golfers to show off their shot shaping abilities while also showing its forgiveness for those newer to the sport. This 18-hole, par 72 public golf course is nestled on 160 acres of beautifully groomed fairways and pure greens. Lakeshore is under the new ownership and management of J&D Golf Management LLC who are committed to providing the best service to their golfers. Designed by William J. Spear in 1968, Lakeshore Golf Course features bentgrass greens for a true roll and bluegrass fairways
