Trion Golf Course

The Trion Golf Course was originally built by Benjamin D. Riegel in 1912 after the purchase of the Trion Manufacturing Company (now known as Mount Vernon Mills). This 9-hole course was owned and operated by the Mill until 1984 when Mr. Riegel sold the course to a private individual who later passed it on to several other individuals, and was eventually lost to foreclosure until 2015. In May of 2015, long-time Trion native, Randy Henderson (and family), decided to purchase the course out of foreclosure. This bustling 9-hole course that boasts over 130 members, the Trion Golf Course is a place where families can gather and make lasting memories.
