Originally designed in 1988 by noted architect Bob Cupp, along with U.S. Open Champions Fuzzy Zoeller and Hubert Green, the course was modernized in 2005 and renovated in 2016. A recent addition is the new Quick-Six course - a fun and unique "course within the course.
